A Retrospective on Green Infrastructure

Click here to watch; hosted externally

Join Matt Prusko, Senior Project Engineer at Arcadis as he reviews lessons learned on Green Stormwater Infrastructure implementation. Throughout the northeast and across the county, municipalities are utilizing green infrastructure (GI) solutions to address existing flooding issues, reduce Combined Sewer Overflows (CSOs), drive economic development, and improve the quality of life for their residents. As more municipalities consider if GI solutions can address their needs, its critical for those municipalities to draw on the lessons learned and experiences from the past.

The presentation will examine several examples of GI implementation practices and the lessons learned during the planning, design, and construction phases. Lessons learned across a variety of projects will be presented, and attendees will leave the session with a renewed understanding of the green infrastructure design process.
